4th of July

We have been looking forward to celebrating 4th of July for a long time!  Our neighborhood has a wonderful pancake feed and children's parade that is so much fun.  This year our good friends and my sister's family went with us and came over for a barbecue afterwards.  We loved spending time in our favorite park watching our children have the time of their lives riding their bikes!

T-Ball

Eli loved soccer this year, so I was a little concerned he might find baseball boring in comparison.  Not...at...all!  Eli has had a blast playing T-ball.  Their team is called "The Ninjas" and he is playing with two of his friends Jesse and Nathan.  He has improved incredibly from last year.  He can hit far, getting better at catching, can launch the ball to first, run like the wind, and has gotten several people out by tagging them or running to the base.  Brandon has been helping coach and really enjoys it.  We are very proud of Eli for always following directions from his coach and having so much fun!

Ballet

We signed Cora up for a month of pre-ballet classes.  She was excited and ended up having a great teacher and a fun time!  I was happy for her to finally have something all to her own (after being dragged to a million of Eli's activities/sports/etc.).  She is a great dancer and always followed directions perfectly.  She would practice her moves at home and teach us all :-).  At the last class, they performed a little routine to "Under the Sea" for all of us parents.  The funny part is, I did a routine as a kid to the same song!  While several of the girls just stood there embarrassed, Cora gave it her all!  She was absolutely adorable!  We will definitely take some more ballet classes next summer!
