The princess of the house is THREE!

My beautiful little girl is three years old!  She is just absolutely lovely.  She is sweet, kind, and oh so silly.  God knew exactly what our family needed to balance out two active boys!  It is hard to believe that she will be headed off to preschool in the Fall, but she couldn't be more ready.  She already knows her teacher and classroom from Eli being there, so she already is confident and excited.  For her birthday she had a joint party with two of her friends that were born the same week, Evie Racchini and Sophie Horst.  She wanted a Minnie Mouse theme, so I made Minnie cupcakes, and for an activity we decorated pots and planted flowers.  The kids all loved it and had a blast!  The boys spent the whole time playing battle with fake guns, which was hilarious.  At three years old Cora:
1.  Loves to whisper wonderful secrets in our ears and hear some in return.  She will say things like, "Mommy, you are the best girl in the world" or "You are special/precious/beautiful!"  I love it!
2.  Loves playing with Eli, especially hex bugs, hide and seek, and wrestling with Dad.  Her other favorite things to do are:  riding her strider bike, playing at the playground, going swimming, buying jewelry, painting nails, and picking out her clothes.  She loves to play dolls (all of which are named Brianna), loves cooking or playing in her little kitchen, playing outside in the sandbox, coloring with chalk, watercolors, etc.
3.  Can write her name perfectly!
4.  Likes to watch:  Barney, Mickey Mouse clubhouse, Curious George, Tangled, and Land Before Time.
5.  Is 37 in (50%) and 30 lbs (50%).  She is healthy!
6.  Loves going on dates to Copper Oven for pizza or a cookie.
7. Is very SILLY!  She loves singing, dancing, and joking around.
8.  Loves Sunday school and no longer cries when we leave her.  She has some great friends and great teachers and really enjoys it.  Her friends from church are:  Evie Racchini, Sophie Horst, Rory Racchini, Pheonix Carver, and Avary Owens.  We do a lot of playdates with Avary, who is her best friend.  She absolutely adores her cousins as well!
9.  Loves rides and thankfully didn't inherit my motion sickness.  She rode a roller coaster without the slightest fear this week, and loves the high jumper at the mall.
10.  Loves her hair fixed in a "messy bun".
11.  Is Eli's biggest cheerleader.  She is such a blessing to us all!
12.  Can be sneaky.  She will pull all sorts of stunts to delay bedtime.  A few times I have woken up in the night to find her rocking in my rocking chair in our bedroom.
13.  Can talk with the best of them.  Her language has always been amazing and she loves to talk.
